Singapore Passport Application Requirements
Singapore passport application requirements. The Singapore passport is an official travel document issued to Singapore citizens and is used to verify identity and citizenship when travelling internationally. In addition, it provides access to visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel to many destinations, although entry requirements may vary by country and can change over time. Furthermore, the passport contains security features designed to help protect the document against fraud and unauthorized use. Therefore, Singapore citizens are generally advised to keep their passport valid, secure, and ready for international travel.
A Singapore passport is issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to Singapore citizens for international travel. Eligible citizens can generally apply online through ICA’s e-Service, including for a first passport, renewal, or replacement of a lost or damaged passport.
